A tiny origami crane, delicately folded from traditional Japanese chiyogami paper.
The crane is one of the most iconic figures in Japanese origami. In Japan, it has long been a symbol of longevity, good fortune, and happiness, and is often displayed at weddings and joyful celebrations as a wish for a blessed future.
Through the story of Sadako Sasaki, the origami crane has also become known around the world as a symbol of peace and hope.
Each crane is carefully handmade using beautiful kimono-style patterned paper. There are 16 different patterns, all inspired by traditional Japanese motifs. Please note that the pattern you receive may differ from the photographs — each one is uniquely special.
Approximate size (when opened):
Wingspan: 7 cm
Height: 3.7 cm
Wing depth: 2 cm
Normally, a folded crane has a visible line across the center of the wings. However, for a cleaner and more elegant appearance, these cranes are folded in a way that avoids that central crease line, giving them a softer and more refined silhouette.
Each crane is folded one by one, with heartfelt wishes for the recipient’s health, happiness, and lasting joy.
Perfect for:
Wedding place settings
Party decorations
Table styling
Small meaningful gifts
Or simply as a gentle symbol of peace in your home
May this small crane carry a quiet wish of happiness to the one who receives it.
