Katori Jingū is one of the oldest and most important Shinto shrines in Japan. It is the head shrine of all Katori shrines across the country and has been revered for centuries as a place of powerful spiritual protection.
The shrine enshrines the deity Futsunushi-no-Ōkami, a god associated with the sword, courage, and the power to overcome obstacles. In Japanese mythology, this deity represents the strength to cut through difficulties and open new paths in life.
Because of this, Katori Jingū is known as a shrine that brings blessings such as:
• success and victory
• protection from misfortune
• achieving goals
• strength to move forward in life
The Shingan Jōju Omamori (amulet for the fulfillment of wishes) carries the prayer that one’s sincere wish will come true. Many people keep it close as a symbol of hope, determination, and spiritual encouragement on their journey.
The green color symbolizes health, self-confidence, and the growth of one’s talents. It represents steady personal growth and the strength to believe in yourself while pursuing your dreams.
At La Zacca, we offer these omamori with deep respect for the prayer and meaning they carry.
Size
Omamori: 4.5 × 8 cm

Note
Omamori are traditionally carried with you or kept in a bag or wallet. They are not meant to be opened. In Shinto shrines it is believed that the protective spirit of the deity resides inside, while in Buddhist temples the amulet may contain a prayer or blessing.
