This jewelry is handmade from vintage kimono silk fabric, carefully selected for its beautiful colors and traditional patterns.

This piece is created from a kimono featuring Sho-Chiku-Bai (松竹梅) — the traditional combination of pine, bamboo, and plum blossoms in Japan, symbolizing good fortune, resilience, and new beginnings.

This design highlights elegant blue and green tones from the original kimono textile, with plum blossoms and bamboo motifs creating a calm and timeless expression.

The same kimono fabric has been used to create several pieces, but each one has a different pattern placement and color balance. Every piece carries its own unique expression.

In Japan, the word “katami” (形見) refers to something precious kept to remember a person or a special time.

KATAMI is inspired by this spirit of carrying memories forward.
